If your password is not working, request a reset link. It goes to the address on the account, works once, and expires — request another if it has gone stale. For security we return the same response whether or not an account exists, so an email not arriving does not confirm anything either way.
If you never confirmed your address, the verification link from sign-up is what you still need. It is a one-time link and it expires, so if yours has lapsed, ask us to re-send it rather than creating a second account.
Sessions live in secure, HttpOnly cookies rather than in the page itself, so a browser set to block cookies cannot keep you signed in. Which cookies these are, and how long they last, is on the Cookie Policy page.
